Red Light Therapy

No. You do not need a referral to book with any of our general practitioners or with Dr. Kartik Naidoo. Simply book online, call us on 065 957 5175, or send us a WhatsApp.
How much does a consultation cost?
A standard 30-minute consultation is R650 for cash-paying patients. If you are on a medical aid we bill at medical aid rates. Fees for procedures and additional services are quoted before they are performed, so there are no surprises.
Which medical aids do you accept?
We are network providers for Discovery Health and Bonitas, and we accept Bankmed, Bestmed, Fedhealth, GEMS, Keycare, Medihelp, Momentum Health, Profmed and Sizwe. If your scheme is not listed, please call us on 065 957 5175 — we will confirm your cover before your appointment.
How long is an appointment?
Every consultation is a full 30 minutes, with every doctor, every time. This is deliberate — it is roughly double the South African average, and it is what allows us to listen properly, examine thoroughly, and explain clearly without rushing you.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are at 19 Market Street, Olivedale, Randburg, 2188 — in Johannesburg North, with easy access from Northriding, Bryanston, Fourways and Douglasdale. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 08:00–16:30, Wednesday 09:00–16:30, and Friday and Saturday 08:00–15:00. We are closed on Sundays.
Do you have pathology and blood tests on site?
Yes. We have on-site pathology, so bloods and most routine tests can be taken during your visit rather than sending you elsewhere. Results are reviewed by your doctor and discussed with you directly.
Do you offer virtual or online consultations?
Yes. You can choose a virtual consultation when you book. Virtual consultations run for the same 30 minutes as in-person visits and suit follow-ups, script renewals, results discussions and any concern that does not need a physical examination.
Can I contact my doctor on WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp access is part of how we work, not an extra. You can reach the practice on 065 957 5175 for bookings, follow-up questions and admin. WhatsApp is not for emergencies — if your situation is urgent, call us or go to your nearest emergency department.
Do you see children?
Yes. We provide family and child health care, including paediatric consultations, immunisations and the everyday childhood illnesses. We see patients at every stage of life, which means one practice can hold the whole family's history.
